Curvilinear wall covers in Marmoresina®: highly adaptable
In the case of curved surfaces or architectural elements, we produce curved Marmoresina® wall covers and curved profiles tailored to the specific project. Marmoresina® allows in fact great ductility and flexibility and is ideal for even complex projects. The degree of protection from weather agents is very high and the aesthetic result is always excellent.
Curvilinear wall covers and special profiles are produced based on drawing using special molds.
Curvilinear Marmoresina® wall covers, molded in a single piece and multiple ones with added pieces and glued together are made up of inverted ‘C’ elements with a smooth, non-porous external surface. The ends of the fins must be cut into squares to allow rainwater to drip off.
The elements must be made with powder, marble granules and natural aggregates of different grain size, aggregated with high content resins for outdoor use. The specific composition refers to UNI 10330 Standards
Stone Products Agglomerated (currently under revision) that sets at 21% the maximum amount of resin binder.
– Non-deformable by temperature, up to 90°C
– Frost susceptibility DIN 52104, water absorbing rate UNI 9724, result: not frost susceptible
The internal part of the wall support must be rough to facilitate adhesion. The wall cover must be mounted up to standard with special glues and sealed with low-modulus silicone for outdoor use. The final part of the side fins is perfectly cut to have adequate and even consistency of material and to obtain a sharp edge with a drop breaking function.
